A new mixed tenure scheme for 51 flats in Canning Town, Barking Road is a precursor to the area's wider regeneration. Situated on a prominent site, the scheme is particularly important as it precedes an ambitious strategy for the regeneration of the whole of Canning Town. The architectural brief was for a striking building that makes a strong statement about the future success and vibrancy of the area. The design is of an individualistic, essentially twenty-first century structure that embodies the latest high quality design and materials technology, while also complementing its context.

The scheme comprises 15 social rent, 15 intermediate rent, 12 shared ownership and nine private units. There is a commercial space at ground floor level. The project is made up of three distinct cubic forms finished in coloured metal and render.
