In July 2009, One Housing Group, which includes Community, Island Homes and Toynbee, received a Short Notice Inspection from our independent regulator, the Audit Commission. The Audit Commission is responsible for inspecting housing associations to ensure that good services are being delivered to customers.
The inspection focussed on Resident Involvement across One Housing Group and included an assessment of how we are addressing three cross cutting themes: Access and Customer Care, Diversity and Value for Money within the service.

In response to the findings within this report we have been working on an action plan which was submitted to the Audit Commission on Monday 7th December.
The final response and judgement from the Audit Commission on our action plan will be available in mid/late January 2010.
