About Us

Youth and community projects

Communities that play together tend to stay together. It sounds simple, but sport, dance, art and fun days can help turn neighbours into friends. They can dissolve cultural barriers and reduce territorialism among young people.

That’s why our staff go the extra mile to provide an exciting and inspiring range of activities and events that engage our young residents, helping them to make positive use of their leisure time, teaching them new skills and raising their aspirations.

During the past year we have run more than 1,000 sessions for young people. Full school holiday programmes are also provided in Camden Town, Kings Cross and Tower Hamlets and Berkshire.

We also run youth clubs in Camden, Tower Hamlets and Berkshire and have set up Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups in Virginia Quays and on the Flower and Dean estate, near Liverpool Street.

One Mic, One Life, our innovative anti-violence project, has engaged over 500 young people over the past three years through a series of concerts and youth forums. Our staff work with young people to show them the negative effects of violence and gang mentalities, encouraging them to develop more positive ways to deal with conflicts.
