The Independent Riots, Communities and Victims Panel launched its intrim report into the cause of the summer's riots this morning at Arlington in Camden.
One Housing Group supports over 500 of London's most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and almost none of them were involved in the riots. Hear from some of our young people why they chose not to riot.
One Housing Group's Director of Housing, Care and Support. Kevin Beirne, said: "There is a real danger here that we paint all young people with the same brush. We look after over 500 young people in London and only three have had a run in with the law. Our approach is to give young people a first time view into a world of ambition and aspiration, with stylish and contemporary homes and the training they need, to instil a spirit of self reliance into them.”
