Do you know that special person who works tirelessly for the good of others in Tower Hamlets?
One Housing Group has come together with other landlords in Tower Hamlets to recognise the contribution their residents make to improving their neighbourhoods.
Community volunteers are often unsung heroes really making a difference to your community. If you know someone like this, why not show them how much you appreciate what they do by nominating them for a STAR in the Community Award?
It could be someone who spends time as an active member of a community group, who organises events or supports another individual resident who needs help.
There are four different categories:
• Inspirational resident of the year
• Young person of the year
• Contribution to resident involvement award and
• Community Cohesion Award

A panel of independent judges will decide the winners and a special ceremony will be held at Canary Wharf.
