Report a repair / defect

This area of the site lets you report a repair or defect quickly and easily. To view our current repairs policy which gives information on how we prioritise the repairs requests we receive and details the target times we work to please visit the Policies and Procedures section of this site.

If you are a Community, Toynbee London or Island Homes resident you can report a repair:

Speak to a member of the Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 99 66.
Office hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Outside these hours your call will be diverted to our emergency out of hours service. Please do not call outside of the above hours unless the repair is an emergency.

If you are a Toynbee Berkshire resident you can report a repair:

If you are a Leaseholder you are responsible for keeping your home in good repair and condition but should report any communal area repairs to your landlord. For more information please see our Leaseholder Management Policy in the related downloads section.

Repairs Response Times & Targets
In order to manage the many different problems reported to us, we have to prioritise repairs. Click here for examples of the type of repairs that fall within each of the categories we use and the target times we work to.

Repairs Responsibilities
Your Tenancy Agreement sets out the repairs for which OHG is responsible and those which you must do yourself. We can do repairs that are your responsibility, but we will have to charge for them. Click here for details of repairs that are your responsibility.

Monitoring Repairs
All of the repairs carried out by One Housing Group are monitored by our surveyors who manage the contractors responsible for the work. They ensure that repairs are completed effectively and efficiently, without incurring excessive costs.
