Developing new homes across London and the South East

Rick Roberts Way development

We're working across London and the South East to create homes for people who need them.

Despite the economic downturn, we’ve kept on building and are well on target to build or acquire 4,500 new homes between 2011 and 2014.

Since we launched our corporate plan in May 2011, we have acquired sites to build 2,752 new homes including two of London’s biggest regeneration projects in King’s Cross and Canning Town. In the last financial year we completed 525 new homes.

A new model for social housing
Most of our new schemes are now ‘mixed tenure’ developments which include homes for private sale. The profits from this subsidise our affordable housing. We want to use our skills as a developer to help create more integrated, sustainable communities – that’s part of One Housing Group’s vision.

More affordable housing
We’d like to make our homes available to anybody in low paid jobs, not just keyworkers - especially people who haven't had access to affordable housing before such as those who can't afford market rents or a first-time buyers’ deposit in London.

A commitment to quality
Designing high quality homes has always been at the core of our business. We have been recognised for the quality of our work with awards for schemes including Roden Court and Allen Gardens.
